If this is your pet’s first visit to our clinic, it is important that we call any previous veterinary clinics on your behalf to obtain a copy of your pet’s medical records.  Obtaining this information allows us to see what illnesses and/or treatments your pet has had in the past, and helps us to continue the appropriate care.  If you keep a journal of your pet’s health, please share this with us as well.  Any information you have regarding your pet’s habits and behaviours can help the veterinarian best treat your pet.

Once a year, you should bring in your pet to Williamsburg Veterinary Hospital for a check-up. This annual visit will include a full physical exam. One of our veterinarians will check the health of your pet from “head to tail”.  At that time we will discuss vaccinations with you, and if needed, will update any appropriate vaccines to best protect your pet.  Please feel free to bring up any questions or concerns you have at that time.
